Charles II has been dethroned (temporarily) by Real Food, The Omnivore's Dilemma and What To Eat. He was moving too slowly towards the Restoration. All this quibbling 'should I go to Jersey, France or the Dutch' 'should I take the Oath of the Covenant'. Damn annoying. On with the women and the fun I say! I'll pick him back up when I need a break from food talk.
