Isadora has this practice of running to me for safety whenever her bigger sister threatens her or Tomas plays 'monster' and frightens her. Last night Jeffrey and I were trying to teach her to yell "Sanctuary!" when she threw herself at me. What actually came out of her mouth was, "Skanktuary!". I'm not sure how to take that.

Jeffrey's visit here went well except for my babysitting plans falling through and us ending up with the children almost the entire time. I fear it was quite stressful on him, since he has not been around children at all. I'm sure he will be grateful to get back to the silence of his own home. I was able to unleash my latent sadism and expose him to the joys of Dora the Explorer AND The Wiggles. He will be scarred forever.
