More small knitting triumphs...

I did a short row and don't seem to have mangled it!

The waistband ribbing is done and the buttukus is starting to form. I might actually pull this off. *bounce*

edit: I spoke too soon there are holes on one side of my short rows. The other side seems fine so I'm half mangling.

The little holes are normal, especially when knitting in the round. It's pretty impressive you managed to do them already, though!

The knittinghelp.com video was pretty uh, helpful. I hate the holes though and I can't get rid of them well enough. You can still see where they were but the other side looks fine.

One leg is done and I'm working on the other now. I've got some messy places where stitches got messed up one way or another and the crotch looks like a 5 year old did it but they're looking like an actual wearable garment now! Here's right before I started on leg #1:

Wow, you've made awesome progress! I do see the hole, but I think it's not anything worth worrying about. The beauty of knitting is that your stitches will move to fit wherever they have to go. This looks incredible for a first big project!
