I'm really disappointed by all of the pro-Polanski statements coming out from directors and actors. The man raped a child, made horrifying statements about it later in interviews and fled the country to avoid having to face up to it. Really don't understand how anyone can think this was ok. Being a good director does not nullify what he did.

Agreed. It's rather shocking. I can't imagine supporting a child rapist on the record for any reason. I don't think I could get the words to come out of my mouth even if someone was paying me for it.

I'm with you on this one. He'd already plead guilty, so it's not like this is some alleged crime. I'm sorry, I can accept that you didn't know that 16 year-old girl was under age, but a thirteen year old?!

I completely agree.

People are saying..."well, the judge was going to go back on the plea deal". well then, have the balls to stay here and fight it in court. not flee.

Karma is a bitch, roman.

Some Swiss guy was on TV saying "he made a little mistake 30 year ago..." UM, hello? Drugging and raping a child is not a "little mistake". Asshole.
