Just got home from my bday dinner at my dad's. It was nice and he bought me skirts, tops and shoes which is fantastic since I loathe shopping. Now if I could just get him and my sister to buy all my clothes for me I'd never have to do it again.

I've now sent Tomas out to buy the ingredients for mojitos plus some coconut rum and pineapple juice which my sister claims is a tasty easy faux pina colada.

Last night mom came over and watched the kids so we could go to dinner and a movie. Tomas says we haven't seen one in a theater since Spiderman 3. I can't remember when that came out. It was fun and a really lovely evening marred only by him having to go into work at 2am.

He's making some kind of big deal out of this birthday. I guess for him crossing 35 into 36 seems OLD. I suppose I already felt old. *shrug*

Coconut rum and pineapple juice is very tasty. It's one of my favorite drinks. I have some coconut rum in the fridge right now, too bad I don't have any pineapple juice.
