Last weekend we made a trip to Buckner's, home of ultra yummy fried chicken, yeast rolls, all the canned (just like mom made 'em!) veggies you can eat, and peach cobbler that you can dig around, hogging all the gooey crusty bits for yourself. The food is put in large bowls on a lazy susan and you eat 'family style'. It is an interesting cultural experience. Next time I'll get some pictures inside if I can. And yes, they do Gospel Singings on certain nights of the week!

I should probably be thankful that I never had to sit through singing there.

I reminds me of the Smith House in Dalonega - hmm...now I'm hungry.

Similar to the Smith House but very different feel. It has this whole rural redneck thing. The side dishes are probably not nearly as good as the Smith House (it has been a while since I've been there), but the fried chicken is so so so yummy.
