Aug. 3rd, 2005 10:54 amNight two using melatonin. I'm not sure that it is helping me get to sleep faster but it does seem to be having some impact on my dreams. Usually I have several dreams a night that are totally unrelated to each other. The past two nights I've had long connected dreams. Both nights dreams have been more complex, detailed and vivid than my average dreams are. Thankfully no nightmares.
Last night's involved someone wanting to sacrifice my son so that he could become king. They tried to once when he was very young and then again when he was 5 or so. The second time he jumped up from the sacrificial altar, grabbed a sword and dispatched the chap trying to kill him. Go dream son. I often dream about children I don't have. They aren't usually quite so heroic.
