Dull and unfocused day. I've spent too much time reading a long thread about Mormons over at SA. It has been educational. I had no idea they wore magic undies and that heaven for a Mormon woman was an eternity spent having children to populate their husband's planets. Dandy. Women are sacred to them ... yeah, sure. Very odd. Ah, religion. I tried talking a little bit to my mom about her (and what I used to be) flavor of Christianity's views on women. She pretty much refuses to talk about religion with me anymore, or anything deeper and more meaningful than my daughter's latest antics. It makes me sad. She used to be such a vibrant and thoughtful woman.

One of my friend's aunts converted to mormonism (is that a word?) and she had to wear the undies for a week. They were actually bloomers, and peeked out of the bottom of her shorts.
