There has to be somewhere decent to live that has nice cool mild summers but doesn't stay covered in ice most of the rest of the year. I hate summers herer. Hate hate hate hate. Might help if we had real a/c instead of these two window units that barely work.

That would be Seattle. or perhaps Portland. Avergare winter temp in the 40's, summer in the 70's. Both fairly mild, except for the rare winter storm or heat wave. But then again those don't even last that long.
