We arrived home from lunch today and a child of maybe 7 or 8 bellowed at me from his porch two houses down, "Excuse me! Excuse me!" I turned and looked at him, he yelled again, "Everyone says you are a witch!" I paused a moment, a bit shocked. The only thing I could think of to say was, "Well okay." I suppose he took that as a, "Why yes, I am the Satan worshipping freak of your little wee redneck nightmares!" because he scampered back into his house mighty quickly.
