My Boston family sent me home with an extra copy of an Appalachian cookbook/folklore book they had lying around. Now I'm seriously craving corn bread, black eyed peas, and greens. I've never tried to cook greens. Need to scout around for a good recipe. I also need to improve my biscuit making skills. Mine have a long ways to go before they are anything like my grandmother's. It'd help if I had a good spot in my kitchen for baking.
