Thanks to the joys of wireless, I am able to sit out on the front steps and enjoy this lovely almost spring day. Ten or fifteen feet to my left are three different kinds of birds and a squirrel I can hear hosts of other birds, all sorts of chirping going on here. It's amazing to me how much more wildlife there seems to be here, close to the center of the city, than there was in our suburban home. I guess maybe it is because there are fewer lawns and more of a variety of trees and bushes, not cookie cutter landscaped ickiness. I do like it. I need a rocking chair so that I can sit outside more comfortably.
