(no subject)

4 Advils later and my head is finally starting to not ache. Did that make no sense? I just started some ice cream freezing in my teeny ice cream maker. My family has this trashy but oh so yummy recipe that is simply orange soda, crushed pineapple, and a can of sweetened condensed milk. If you eat it right after it's made it still has some of the soda fizzy left in it. I need some more ice cream recipes. Easy ones. Mom used to make us snow ice cream on the rare days when it would snow here. Snow, condensed milk, and choco syrup. You couldn't do that anymore or your kids would grow a third ear... which could be cool. heh
I got my birthday Lush order yesterday. It was full of wonderful things. Today I used the coconut soap that has tiny coconut bits in it. So so delicious.
Greg is watching Othello on tv... the one with Lawrence Fishburn in it. He is another yummy thing today. Oh and I had thai food for lunch. This must just be the day of yum's.
What else to say?... I have a family gathering this Saturday. My mom is having us all over for my birthday and this includes my father (and I suppose his boyfriend), and my brother's new girlfriend. She's the daughter of hippies and a vegetarian. It's his first real girlfriend. She should be fun to meet. Perhaps a little harder to freak out than my sister's redneck boyfriend or my other brother's girlfriend who thought my sister and I were insane for having drug free births.
Well, off to check on the ice cream. . .
