(no subject)

Greg played Anarchy Online and Tribes 2 all afternoon and evening yesterday so I got to watch all the movies I wanted. It was fun. The Virgin Suicides was first. It was different than I expected... dark and sad yes but also kind of light and glowy. I'm not sure how to explain that. It had a fairy tale sort of feel. After that I watched Basquiat which I had seen before but enjoyed and wanted to see again. After all it does have a great cast... Benicio Del Toro, David Bowie, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Willem Dafoe, Parker Posey... sheesh. A bit later I watched Jezebel with Bette Davis. Oooo.... and I watched part of a PBS series on Queen Victoria's England. That was nifty I should try and remember to watch the rest of it.
On a completely different topic... what the hell is the deal with this Ohgr band? The way people rant and rave about them you would think they were the second coming. Good grief. I wish the damn tour or whatever it is they are doing that makes everyone talk about them continuously would hurry up and be over already. How good could they possibly be?
