Not the greatest week of my life. It started last Monday with Isadora getting ill and throwing up all day long. A few days later Rhiannon started it only her's was worse and lasted a little longer. The day after she got sick, I did. That night Greg and I had a fight which ended up lasting for several days. Tomas was sick on Thanksgiving and Rhiannon has been on her absolute worst behavior all week long. My hair is dry and frizzy. And Tomas was pissy last night because the one football game a year he watches went badly for him (Georgia vs. Ga. Tech).
Hopefully this week will be better. The illness has passed on to the extended family members who were lucky enough to have contact with us over the past 7 days. Greg and I made up. Rhiannon will be going to bed soon. I have Cherry Garcia in the freezer (right next to a chocolate pie that is untouched). Isadora is doing her stompy dance all over the room.

Ah the tide of life.

For the first time since we've been married we didn't get a tree on the days following Thanksgiving. Tomas only had his usual Thursday and Friday off and the room I want the tree in has to be cleaned. Anyway since things were bad with Greg my mood wasn't really festive. I've been having trouble summoning up my Christmas Frenzy. All the boxes of decorations have been sitting in the living room since Halloween but nothing is out. Maybe I just need some rainy chilly days to help me along.

I've been getting that itchy feeling under my skin again... too much late night thinking about Vincent D'Onofrio and a young Orson Welles I think. heh. Does lying in bed day/night dreaming keep me awake or am I doing it because I've been fighting insomnia lately? I'm also sleeping in odd little spurts, waking often, which leads to me remembering lots of mini-dreams.
Earlier in the week I dreamed about electrocurves and visiting her. She lived in a little house from the 30's that was across the street from the beach and had a large plate glass window that looked out onto that beach and an open air costume shop. She told me that it was quite fun to watch at Halloween when everyone came and tried things on. Maybe I read an entry of her's shortly before falling to sleep. I never know.
So back to the cute men (I was going to say boys but despite them both having baby faces they really seem more like men to me). Orson I can attribute to too much Citizen Kane (and the whole Third Man thing a few months back). He makes me sad though. Poor fellow never had much of a chance. Where do you go when you make the world's greatest film ever while in your 20's? Vincent has been on my mind because he's on the newest Law and Order show, a series we are rather addicted to and because I watched another movie of his, Claire Dolan, a month or so ago. He ought to be cast as the sexy leading man more often. I know he won't be but.... well a gal can dream. I think I'll have to buy The Cell just because of him and the gorgeous clothes. Poor shallow me.

Yup, feelin' itchy, bitchy, and just damn vampy.
