(no subject)

We are into our new apartment now... sorta. The basics have been moved, beds and clothes, a few kitchen things, books and movies but most of my furniture (such as it is) is still at the other house and we have a lot of cleaning there to do. Hopefully that will mostly get cleared up this weekend. We took a short trip to the zoo the other day and got our zoo pass plus a guest pass so that we can take a friend or family member with us (I sound like a commercial). I wish it would get warm enough to make a longer visit. More rain is coming. Joy. We already have mud everywhere.

The houses in the neighborhood are lovely, big and small victorian to turn of the century homes and cottages. Very quaint. There are even brick sidewalks. The children keep picking up "special" leaves. You'd think they'd never been out of the house before.
