Jeffrey is in town. Things are going well. We're a happy lot except for the cold that Isadora is slowly passing around.

I went on a soap buying spree and bought a few things from Darkswan and Villainess. The Darkswan soaps came today. Super Fast! They smell loverly. I'm looking to replace Lush soaps because they seem to be drying my skin out and are hellaciously expensive. The BPAL ladies are a bad influence. I also placed my third order with them last week. I got 5 bottles of perfume and one more set of imps. I know, this is terribly exciting. Ah well.

Next week I should be slipping back into my books. My iBook is back to full health again (its cord broke). Yay. I can stop staring at the walls now.

This is turning into cooking weekend. I have a batch of carnitas on the stove top and am going to make guac, salsa, cheesy dip and fresh corn tortillas to go with it. Tomorrow I'm making gumbo. I also need to get a preferment for some bread thrown together and I'm considering making some cinnamon rolls for breakfast tomorrow.
