(no subject)

Today has been a pretty difficult day. Due to things beyond my control we all ended up with not very much sleep last night which put the girls and I both in sleep deprived moods. This meant Rhiannon had to pretty much be forced into the school, Isadora wanted to 'snuggle' all day long (with her ceaseless chattering) and I just wanted quiet solitude. None of us really got what we wanted. To add to it both of my guys had rough days of different sorts. Towards dinner I was struggling to get the chicken grilled and the tomatoes roasted for some pasta and managed to fill the room up with smoke. I stepped out to breathe and check up on the kids who were in the tub. Isadora looked up at me and just looked in my eyes peacefully for a moment then said. "Life is great". And really, I have to agree with her. Even after this not so prime day, life is great.
