Mar. 1st, 2005 07:02 pmSpent the morning listening to Kurt Schwitters' sound poetry then went to an actual hair salon and got my hair chopped off by an actual stylist (rather than a wild Chava wielding dull scissors and a desire to butcher) and even procured my very own ridiculously named hair products which I will henceforth refer to as Goo 1 and Goo 2. Then I came home and played with my new mineral makeup samples. Not exactly a day spent in pursuit of cerebral challenges but I enjoyed it. I did pick up a 1930's German book about Mary Wigman from a woman in Israel off ebay and still managed to get a decent deal on it I think (saw someone listing it on abebooks for somewhere around $400 - a better copy than the one I got though). I need to invest in some sort of archival box for my dance ephemera. It's all just sitting in a drawer right now. I'd like it to be in something a little more secure, especially before we move again.
