Oooo! I figured out what the fantastic wooden church was that I visited in Russia. All I could remember was that it was constructed without nails and was very very very old (and chock full of icons). An amazing place. I badly want to go back to Russia.

I'm becoming rather fond of Edgar Varèse. Not so much because of his music (which is interesting!) but because he connects so many people together. He is someone I ought to read more about. Yup. I guess this is more of a note to myself. But then there are some of you who ought to know about him if you don't. I mean... "Varèse was known as the "Father of Electronic Music." See! Fascinating fellow!
