I've been listening to a bit of Vienna Teng tonight and even if she didn't have a lovely song entitled The Atheist Christmas Carol (just a clip) I'd still say that her songs sounded like winter. There's a softness and purity to them. They fall like snow. Some are very sweet and light and others are very sad. In my mind they match up well with Ben Folds even though they don't really sound alike. I can just see them together as children.

The girls are in the other room rocking out to the music off some web page. I can only assume it's something like Hi Hi Puffy Ami whatever-on-earth-that-show-is-called. They could be singing about sacrificing kittens to Cthulhu for all I know but it's in Japanese so I reckon it's all good. I played my crabby old mom role and bellowed, "turn that music down!" and Rhiannon poked her head around the door and said, "I have a better idea." then closed my door. Ah, kids these days.
