My brother's wife had their baby early this morning, a little girl. Everyone is healthy. Mom and I are going to drive down to their home in manatee land Florida (Homosassa) to see her early next week. I found a hotel that is on a river with dolphins and manatees and has a Tiki bar with monkeys in the tree. It sounds totally campy, is inexpensive and had a couple of good reviews so hopefully it will be fine. They have kayaks for rent too. Should be a nice short trip.

I just burned the ever-loving hell out of my hand making dinner tonight. Our oven vents out onto the stovetop and if you have a pot or something set back there it gets as hot as if you'd sat it in the oven. I forgot and grabbed a handle. Sizzle. Ugh.
