Nope, it's about the awesome Babylegs we picked up today at Target. Babylegs are basically legwarmers for babies. They take the place of pants and make diaper changes a lot easier. His are a bit large on him right now but he'll grow. These have pirate skulls on them. We need a striped onesie or shirt and an appropriate booty coverage.

Here are the girls, Jack and I. Guess that's rather obvious.

Well I think we just had a tornado pass behind our house. There were warnings out for our county but our county is huge and I wasn't really too concerned. I was watching the system head closer and was waiting for a nice storm to roll in but then the power flashed on and off and I started hearing a roar that got louder and louder. I grabbed the baby up, ran to the girls room and got them all into the bathroom. Through the girls room windows I saw the neighbor standing up on his upstairs porch yelling at his roommates to 'get down'. A few minutes later I opened the side door and he was coming up out of his basement and said he saw it from his porch and it went diagonally through towards the park. I don't see any damage but there's a strong smoke smell outside and I heard a lot of sirens. There's supposedly damage downtown too. Quick but freaking scary.

ETA: Looks like downtown was really hit hard... right around where Tomas's office is. He'd come home not too terribly long before and his actual office wasn't hit, just the area all around. I'm not sure about his building. The sports arenas were hit and were full of people. They've closed down the freeway ramps in and out of downtown. The CNN Center is damaged too. They haven't mentioned Grant Park so hopefully nothing was damaged here.

More editing!: I'd gone to sleep around 12am but an upstairs neighbor came running down the stairs for no apparent reason and woke me up with a jolt so now I'm perusing the blog/news reports. Sounds like a cotton mill loft area pretty close to my house was badly hit and may have had some kind of collapse. The news reports from downtown (which is a mile and a half or two from my house) are really freaky... people hanging onto poles while the winds flapped them up in the air type freaky. It'll be amazing if no one died in all of this.

Rhiannon had been spending the night with a friend but decided she was homesick and Tomas left work to pick her up. I wonder if she hadn't if he'd still been at work stuck there or worse leaving right when it all hit. Argh. It's going to be tough for me to get back to sleep.

2:08am: God, they are showing the lofts now on the news and saying four floors have pancaked. I feel sick. How could that happen?
The Marta station we use most often is supposedly trashed and partially collapsed.
