Isadora can't sit on a bus or wait in a line without making dear friends with some small child next to her. If there isn't one there she starts getting twitchy and looking further afield until she finds one she can reach. Yesterday she made friends with children from Canada (PEI and Alberta), Arkansas, Mexico, Brazil and France. People at our resort are starting to recognize her. Last night The parents of the girl from Mexico (who was fast asleep in her stroller) cheerily called out, "Hello Isadora!!" as they passed us. This of course means I end up having conversations with the parents of all of these kids who usually seem a bit stunned or amused by Isadora's outgoing perky verbal onslaught. She also keeps passing out our room number to everyone. Whee.

World Showcase kicked my arse. We made it in late today, around 10:30 and it was packed. Got Fastpasses to ride Mission Space, shopped a little, I bought my first stuffs (tshirt, socks, christmas ornament) then rode MS. Did NOT like. Headed over to Morocco which is where we ate lunch then basically wandered around the world. I picked up a couple more Christmas ornaments in Germany (including a PICKLE and an addition to my Hideous Bird ornament collection) and in Japan I got two small soy sauce dishes (I use those for so many things) a beautiful hand thrown mug and a larger serving bowl. I really love the sorts of glazes and paints they use in some of the Japanese pottery. I want more.

Overall the way they boiled down an entire country's essence into a few marketable themes really irritated me in some places. For instance Canada was the land of bears and badgers. ???? Ok. Sure. It was actually one of the prettier countries though not something you want to do with a stroller.

Dinner was at Biergarten. Rhiannon and Jack both enjoyed it's atmosphere though neither ate a ton. Rhiannon actually smiled at the stage show. *gasp* The woman pouring beers was in a window right beside us and apparently enjoyed watching the kids so she gave them all gingerbread men when we were done. It was very nice of her.

Tomorrow we are supposed to get up at 6am to go to breakfast at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort. I might try to talk Tomas out of it because I am exhausted and getting a cold. I also have a huge blister on the bottom of my foot though I've made a "moleskin doughnut" for it that I hope will help. We are spending all day tomorrow at Disney Studios.

The kids and Tomas are down at the pool with his sister and her family. I am enjoying the peace and quiet. Really needed it.

I also need to knit. Regain sanity.

Going to step out and watch the Epcot fireworks from my balcony now.
