Apr. 20th, 2009 10:31 amI finished the shawl I started shortly before mom went into the hospital. The vast majority of it was knitted sitting with her there in her hospital room and now I don't know that I want to see it around. It's the Cancer Shawl. I don't want to get rid of it. The colors are better suited for a girl but I don't want mine destroying $50 worth of yarn by accidentally washing it. I guess I'll just put it away.
Now I'm starting on a new pair of longies for Jack in a beautiful soft merino. Not the most durable yarn for baby pants but this colorway was just so so lovely on this yarn base that I had to have it.
