Jack has bizarrely bonded with a copy of Plato's Last Days of Socrates. No matter where I hide it on my bookshelf, he digs it out. It's not shiny or unusual in the least, just a cheap paperback copy but he drags it around the house with him. A few minutes ago he sat down and "read" it to the cat. I don't think she appreciated his efforts.
