I'm having some kind of odd Commonwealth period in my tv viewing right now. I'm still working my way through the British series The House of Elliot but I've also started watching Wire in the Blood and Doc Martin. From Canada I've been viewing Slings & Arrows and from Australia, Spartacus: Blood and Sand (which contains a bizarre mishmash of Australian, Irish, Scottish and American accents).

I'm also watching my normal summer tv shows, True Blood and Mad Men. I think I'll give AMC's Rubicon a try since it looks interesting. Sons of Anarchy starts soon and I'm really looking forward to Boardwalk Empire on HBO whenever that's supposed to come out. I'll probably watch The Walking Dead too since it's filmed in Atlanta and the comic hasn't been too bad thus far.

And of course I've been watching my usual slew of documentaries including some on Shakespeare, Alexander the Great, advertising agencies, the making and impact of the porn film Deep Throat, crazy internet dudes, the Holocaust and urban explorers.

It's safe to say I've been in a tv/movie phase which I'm sure will wrap up before too much longer and swing back into book. I'm a weird cyclical gal like that.
