Isadora came in my room today with one foot bare and the other shod with a sage sock. I asked her why she was only wearing one. "Because mommy... " she said very seriously, "I don't want to get pinched." Obviously their father hadn't forgotten what day it was (unlike their mommy) and made sure they were at least somewhat properly attired for the day before I woke up. "And mommy, it's for Patrick. Not the yellow and pink one, the green one!" The yellow and pink one being Sponge Bob's partner, compadre, friend, sidekick, whatever. Good to know she has the basics down.
