This week Horatio Hornblower arrived in my mailbox. Another set of movies I put on my Netflix queue and then promptly forgot why. Either I thought that it sounded like rip roaring fun gay porn or a certain Tasmanian I know influenced me. Though it's entire possible that a certain Tasmanian could have pushed me towards gay porn. She's a bad (good) influence. The listing of Jeeves and Wooster under "Enjoyed by members who enjoyed" is a good sign.

I sat on my new porch chair today and enjoyed a pot of coffee while reading Nana. It was a nice bit of peace before my mother returned with my girls and The Cousin. Peace is definitely now a thing of the past. Bedtime in 2:30. Hopefully I will survive. Hopefully they will survive. Did you know that three kids can ride a broomstick all at the same time? The idea had never occurred to me to even try such a thing.

Ah... no actual Hornblowing available in Horatio Hornblower. Mostly recommended for those who like Napoleonic War era stuff and/or maritime history and/or men in britches. I go for all three but particularly that last one. Mmm.
