danuvFinally picked an obgyn today... well actually it's a midwife who delivers at North Fulton so I can have my waterbirth finally. I'm going to continue thinking about/researching homebirth. My first appointment with the midwife is June 11th, the day before my birthday. I hope I can hear a heartbeat then. That would be a wonderful birthday gift. I'm feeling a bit puktastic right now. Walking up to the school always seems to do that to me. I don't know if it's the heat or the movement or what.
I ordered some more Japanese novels last week and am now reading The Makioka Sisters by Junichiro Tanizaki. It's been a very easy pleasant read thus far and sometimes you just really need that. I also bought myself a Diane Arbus bio which ought to be entertaining. I know nothing about her. I'm such a biography whore.
I'm making a dull chicken teriyaki stir fry tonight but what I really want is a giant steak with mac and cheese.
