Mom just called to tell me that while cleaning the garage (she is living with her mother), she found a canvas duffel bag FULL of letters written to and from my grandfather to/from his parents, a guy friend and a girl friend during WWII while he was in the Navy. She said that they are in incredible condition and only some on the very bottom have a bit of water damage. She had no idea that they were out there. I can't wait to see them.
