First half of Mists of Avalon was on last night. I've read the book several times now... one of my favorites. Of course turning it into a four hour (with commercials) movie is like taking a huge gorgeous tapestry, cutting it into pieces, and then copying them on a Xerox machine. I do think it was well cast though (except that Joan Allen is too old in the beginning).
My mom is losing her job. I wish her life would settle down. It seems like the past five years or so have just been one hard spot after another.
