Monday-Wednsday: Listed a bunch of my old role playing books and a few dvd's. They are doing surprisingly well. I'd never have guessed that old beat up books could be worth anything.
Thursday: Not a damn thing.
Friday: Greg and I went to the mall (woohoo) where I purchased a pair of shorts (shock shock horror horror) for the beach trip, a couple bits of makeup, and some doo dads for my hair. We watched Requiem for a Dream which I loved. Later that night Tomas's mom called to tell me that his great uncle had died which led to:
Saturday: Spent the whole day in Manchester for a funeral. Manchester is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. After the funeral we stopped by his great aunt's house. The place has been in the family since it was built sometime in the mid 1800's and is seriously creepy. Of course knowing that his great grandmother killed herself by jumping down the well next to the porch doesn't help. Later that night we watched State and Main. I love William H. Macy. He and Phillip Seymore Hoffman are so adorable.
Sunday: Tomas decided to celebrate Greg's 10,000 day on this earth by taking him out to eat and to buy him something (he got the new Akira dvd). I picked up Neil Gaiman's new book American Gods and a tour book for the Georgia coast. Then we came home and watched Space Cowboys (just plain bad) and our usual Sunday night routine of Sex in the City and Six Feet Under.
I've also been trying to finish The Magus when I have time to read. It's a tiring book. Not because it's bad but because the twists and turns the main character goes through are so exhausting. I'm trying to decide what all I want to take on vacation to read. Hopefully I'll be done with The Magus by then. The Neil book goes as does a Phillip K. Dick book Greg wants me to read and I was considering picking up a copy of The Lord of the Rings since it's been so long since I read it. Greg wants met to get some Lovecraft too but I don't know if that is very vacation-y. One more something or other might be good though.
