May. 16th, 2003 01:30 amWe saw The Movie this evening. It was entertaining and enjoyable, but the real treat (aside from the Monica and Carrie daydreams that I'll be having for a while now) was a trip to Barnes and Noble. Now, I generally try to avoid the place, and tonight I remembered why. I left with a nice heavy sack of books. Not quite as wicked as I could have been though! All but one were in the cheap rows.
A nice big book full of Charles Rennie Mackintosh info and pictures.
The Mistress: Histories, Myths and Interpretations of the "Other Woman".
Some sort of biography about the Wagner family that looks fairly scandalous.
Robinson Crusoe
and Perdio Street Station
Should be fun reading. *glee*

Date: 2003-05-16 06:04 pm (UTC)It's no worse than my attempts to addict people to opera/filk/Tom Robbins/good comics/whatever I feel they're missing out on.
I, as Queen of the World, obviously know what's best for everyone. *grin*
