Mar. 20th, 2004 09:18 pmToday we got the girls bunk beds. Shortly after getting them set up, Isadora ate 3/4 of a box of cherry tomatoes, two doughnuts, then decided it would be a good idea to jump off the top bunk over to her chest of drawers. She's now in the ER getting a cat scan and telling the doctor all about Kiki and offering to demonstrate her flying abilities for him. I think she's done enough flying for the day. I stayed home to get Rhiannon in bed. Tomas is keeping me updated but she seems to have perked up and be doing better now. This was our first real ER trip with either of the kids. Hopefully we will get very very lucky and it will be the last, somehow I doubt it though.

Date: 2004-03-23 08:24 am (UTC)I can completely empathize with the poor girl. I took a hard fall (on my head) in the back yard once (onto a packed dirt trail) after being tossed in the air by a neighbor kid. I was dizzy for the next 24 hours, couldn't see after it happened; cept my lovely parents tucked me in bed and went across the street to hang out the the neighbors! I think I shall never be able to go bald for all the bumps and scars on my head...
glad to hear she is home. good luck keeping her mellow!
