Tomas drug me out of bed early this morning to see the falling stars. We plopped down on a blanket in the grass of our front yard and despite overhanging trees, a streetlight, city haze, and the dim glow from nearby Jonesboro, we managed to see many beautiful streaks in the 30 minutes or so that my nose could cope with before it froze solid. There were several that even left streaks for seconds afterwards and some you had to follow across the sky turning your head. I can't even imagine what it would have been like seen from a better viewing spot.

Last night I picked up the recent Citizen Kane dvd and the new Sam Phillips which I had been trying to get since it came out. Sam yummy. Here is an mp3 of one of her songs if you can put up with my horrid connection. It's not from the new one. Once I get it ripped I'll put a new song up.
I wish that Tomas wasn't working late tomorrow and we could go to the Poe concert. *sigh* Oh well.
