Sep. 19th, 2005 05:19 pmI've spent the day simmering down two bags of red beans with chunks of country ham and now I have a giant pot of silky soft, spicy, flavorful beans spiked liberally with shreds of ham and I no longer care that I've probably totally destroyed any health benefits they may have offered and am so looking forward to pouring a ladle full over some rice and calling it dinner.
