(no subject)

We're getting our Christmas tree today so I thought it would be a good day for gumbo. I made the chicken stock yesterday and I've gotten better at making a roux quickly (as opposed to the 30 minute process it used to be) so it doesn't take as long anymore. It makes the house smell wonderful.
