The weekend was quite nice. Tomas and I did very little but lay around watching Generation Kill (Alexander Skarsgard is almost as yummy as his dad Stellan) and soaking in the hot tub. Jack became a master of the inchworm crawl while we were away and spent his time scooting all around the cabin floor. It was much more relaxing for him to do that there than here at home because I'm still trying to clean up all the chokeables off our floor in here. Isadora got a massive box full of doll house minis from Richard last Christmas and I'm constantly stepping on tiny chef's knives, itty bitty cherries or teensy pastries. It's a baby mine field.

Yesterday mom brought a big bag full of vintage yarn from my Granny's house complete with a receipt from 1980. There are several skeins of red and silver acrylic Christmasy stuff and about 5 or 6 of some kind of mohair and acrylic blend in baby pink. She wants me to make her and the kids hats with the red stuff (sill elf hats) and a cowl for her with the pink.
