This morning I am slogging my way through Lars Von Trier's Medea and trying to figure out if it is supposed to look like it was filmed by playing the footage on video then using an old videocamera to record it off the tv or if this is just a really bad transfer to dvd. It has some very lovely and haunting images regardless.
