We went to the Inman Park Festival today which was just one hop down on Marta for us and much much larger than I expected it to be. It was a nice outing. Lots of walking, probably 6 or 7 miles all together. There was a parade which included things like a gaggle of basset hounds and a Chinese Dragon. Then we strolled the many streets of vendors but didn't buy anything and then attended 5/6ths of a dance performance. That was all the girls could take. Now I'm settling down to the last two discs of History of Britain and may even take a nice Lush bath before hand. Mmm. Life's not bad.

I thought it was possible. I kept an eye out for purple headed men but saw none. This city is lacking in colorful (colorfulled?) haired people. I'm not so sure that living there this time of year would be good or not. That was a massive crowd. I think I need to start exploring what is within walking distance of that station and the Decatur one now that we're carless.
