danuvI've started reading a book about the Surrealists. Mostly I'm hoping to get a clearer picture of the line between Surrealism and Dada. Many of those in Dada went on to become Surrealists (though not all) but it definitely has a different mood and feeling. Anyway, so it's mostly the early stuff I'm interested in. I should get a book on Breton. I have another couple of Man Ray books on the way. I think that will make a total of 6 or 7 books I have that are exclusively about him, not counting the books I have on the period, modernism, or Dada. It's not that I'm -that- interested in Man Ray it's just that there are certain things I want to untangle about him that the other books keeping not talking about. Grrr.
