I took the girls downtown today to meet Tomas for lunch. It was a pleasant walk, lunch was nice, then we left Tomas and went on to Centennial Park for a few. It's not really a bad little park. The girls enjoy all the ponds, waterfalls and fountains as well as the 'wiggly water' (the dancing water that the let the kids play in). I let them run around a little, we had some ice creams then we headed home. Isadora managed to trip and replicate a slide into home plate on the sidewalk and tore her little palms and a knee to shreds. Poor baby. She loves to run full tilt but hasn't quite lost that toddler's awkwardness.

I watched Impomptu today. It has a great cast (Mandy Patinkin -and- Bernadette Peters!) and managed to be more entertaining than Valmont which I watched yesterday. Nothing sadder than a missed opportunity for Colin Firth to play a deliciously wicked baddie.

The rest of the movie, I could have happily lived without having seen. (Though whatsherface's 'lingerie' was lovely.)

I remember quite liking Impromptu. :)
