Hmmm... I'm not sure what your type of books are but here are some ideas for you.

1. Watership Down - An amazing book if you haven't read it, even if it is about some rabbits :-)

2. Fantasy -The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizebeth Moon. My favorite book because of the way it deals with good and evil. You can ask Birdofparadox about it as well.

3. I'm a bad person, I don't read much literature, it's either fun fantasy sci-fi stuff or philosophy stuff :-(. But books are amazing.

Heh, I read Watership Down when I was 10 or something. Might be a good one to pull back out for a second look.
I've never heard of Elizabeth Mood... sounds interesting...
I read a fair amount of fantasy and sci-fi too. I used to be more of a 'literature' type until someone introduced me to Sandman and it was all downhilll from there. :)
