Just watched an interesting PBS docu about the Lady Juliana a ship that brought women to the Australian Penal colony that became known as a floating brothel. It was really neat, they showed some of the descendants of a few of the women and talked about their history. They even had records and reports of their trials. One of the girls was only 11 when she was sentenced to death for stealing another little girl's clothes. Her sentence was changed to being sent to Australia when Mad King George uncrazied for a bit (celebrate good times). Nothing cheers me up like a good documentary about whores.

I'm working on components of tomorrow's feast. Mom is doing the turkey and dressing, Mara is handling mac and cheese and I have pretty much everything else. Woo.
