Not directed at anyone other than myself.
May. 5th, 2006 12:13 pmWhen I was in elementary school, probably First Grade, they gave us a hearing test. I tried very hard to fail it. I wanted to be special. Even if it was something bad. I wonder if that still holds true today, that in our desire to be different than everyone else that sometimes we latch on to anything, even if it is bad or sick, just to make us stand out or feel more unique. It's a strange pull going on inside, wanting to be different but wanting to be accepted. Wanting to be loved for the unique snowflake that none of us are but all of us are. Crazy life. Crazy world.
