danuvLast night I got two new skirts that were NOT from Old Navy. My self imposed period of dressing merely to cover my nudity has come to an end. Today I bought shoes. The last pair of shoes I purchased prior to these were running shoes bought offline sometime over a year ago, the pair before that was probably another year or two back. I am not a shoe shopper. Hopefully these will last me for some time.
We went to this amazing awesome store between Harvard and Porter Squares that was full of wonderful stuff that caused much coveting but in one particular case near the front on the bottom shelf was a small book. I immediately recognized the artwork on the cover. It was a catalogue for some sort of Société Anonyme exhibit from 1996. Sadly there was a piece of paper beside it announcing that it had been sold and no one was to touch it. The man said it was very rare. I was explaining to J what it was and the guy looked at me and said, "Who's been educating you?". I was um, shocked. Maybe I should have started making monkey noises or something. Anyway, my day was filled with glee just seeing the not for sale catalogue. Want want want.
