Isadora is having quite a week. Lately she's been obsessed with the tooth fairy. The entire week has been spent furiously trying to loosen a tooth because she is certain that the tooth fairy fulfills wishes. I tried telling her that the TF primarily deals in small coinage but she's just refusing to believe me. Tomas even went so far as to tell her there was no TF but in typical Isadora fashion her belief in the great Tooth Fairy is as rock solid as her faith in god, Odin, Santa and Ghost Jesus (that was from a conversation yesterday where she explained in a very serious manner how Jesus was drowned in the river Jordan and came back from the dead as the Holy Ghost). She actually has a Tooth Fairy wish list that includes never having to clean her room again (I suspect Rhiannon's influence there) and that all her imaginary friends will become real. Speaking of imaginary friends she sent this letter to Kim Possible. Or tried to send it, "Set it outside for the postman to pick up mommy!"

Today she has decided that Purple Bear (yeah, we ran out of names for stuffed animals by kid #2) no longer wants to be a boy bear. He wants to change his name to Clara Belle and wear dresses. She cried when Rhiannon declared the entire thing "stupid" and pulled Clara Belle's oversized frock off. I fussed at Rhiannon and went to find a better fitting dress for our new transvestite bear.

It's Isadora's world and we are all just extras in it.

edit: And just when I thought she couldn't get any stranger... she just came in here with her eyes welling up, "Mommy, my imaginary friends killed Clara Belle." "Um, what?!" "Myyyy *sob* imaginary friends *weep* killllllled Purp..Clara Belle" "Why on earth would they do that, Isadora?" "They didn't like her being a girl."

.....

So apparently her imaginary friends now perpetrate hate crimes. I gave Purple Bear/Clara Belle a "Kiss of Life" and it was all better. I also sent Isadora to take a nap.
