It's taken the combined powers of Pati LuPone, George Hearn, and Sondheim in the form of Sweeny Todd in Concert but this evening not only am I not depressed but I am actually giggling. Woo!

Isadora informs me that it would be most unfortunate to be a monkey because your tail would be continuously smacking your ass and that would hurt. The More You Know.

Ooh. Are we thinking the Tim Burton Sweeney Todd that's in production is going to be any good? I haven't seen the show since a filmed stage production when I was a kid. It was good though. I mean, naturally being Sondheim and all.

Well I even like the less than great Tim Burton films (except for Planet of the Apes) so I'd probably enjoy it and if he gets Depp then mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm. I enjoyed the stage production version with Angela L. too. It's interesting to compare the two women. A.L is funnier I think, more interesting to watch but my guess is that Patti LuPone has a better voice. I don't know much about such things though. The guy playing Sweeny Todd is the same (and wonderful). Plus it has Doogie Howser in it.
