I had a great Bookmooch day today. Two cookbooks I've been wanting popped up and I managed to get them in time, Batali's Babbo Cookbook and Madhur Jaffrey's World Vegetarian. I really love Bookmooch. It has let me clear out my bookshelf some and acquire new books to read at minimal cost. I keep getting books I want to hoard though so eventually I'm going to run out of things to list.

We're trying to watch the HOLY JESUS DNA!!!!! show but Tomas got called away to work. It's amusing but pretty unbelievable not really so much because of the questionable facts but the sort of general haphazard way these guys seem to be going about it all.

I really love World Vegetarian, though I haven't made a ton of recipes in the time I've had it. It's great just for comfort reading and I know it introduced me to a lot of new techniques, though you're a better cook than I am already. So yay for huge, fun cookbooks, especially when they're cheap/free! I'd love to hear if you find useful recipes in it.
